Frederick Loewe Award!

Joy Huerta and Myself were awarded this year’s Frederick Loewe award by the Dramatist Guild at their annual awards event and we’re over the moon! The award is presented annually by the Dramatists Guild Council to a composer, recognizing achievement in a theatrical score presented in the previous theatrical season, and this year we were awarded for our work on CURVES.
It was an honor to be in the company of the other awardees, including Bess Wohl, Migdalia Cruz, and Lisa Kron. I also got to take this special photo with some legends and peers, including Stephen Flaherty who performed a song from RAGTIME with Lynn, and Scott Frankel who presented us with the award, which was very special. What a night to celebrate incredible writers!
